December is here!!

December is here and we have two little boys who are very excited about Christmas.  I have been feeling better and better now that I am in the 2nd trimester so I am going to do my best at catching up.  Both boys have been in school plays/sing-a-longs and we just get so proud of them...they are so adorable.

Lucas' Thanksgiving play.....Lucas was shy and did not care to sing much but was adorable none the less.

Eli's Christmas sing-a-long..... he did all the hand motions and was very animated.  So precious.  He was the only one that wore reindeer antlers on his head.  These are from my iphone so they are not the best quality but my camera was dead that morning :(

The kids are learning a lot in school and they both love going.  Eli is singing his ABC's and can count perfectly to 12.  He loves to recite his ABC's and counting for everyone....over and over and over!  He also knows all of his colors and can handle a puzzle like a boss.  Here is some of his artwork of late....

Lucas is very into writing, making books, and any type of crafts.  I am so proud of how well he can read and he will sit down and write out his thoughts.  The spelling is not perfect but you can read what he is trying to tell you.  He is also a math whiz.  His teacher cannot believe how good he is at addition/subtraction at such a young age.  Here is some of Lucas' schoolwork......

The day after Thanksgiving we went out and picked a Christmas tree to cut down....one of our new favorite things to do together.  They boys had such a good time and my sweet little niece was happy to pose with the boys in front of the tree we chose.  After we cut down the tree they have to prepare it for the ride home so the boys got to play some at the farm which is always a good idea.

Oh, and major news flash!!  Eli is potty trained!!  He is 2 weeks now without diapers except during nap and at night.  The nap time pull up will go here in the next 2 weeks when he transitions to a big boy bedroom but I will not worry about nighttime training until after he is 3.Although, he wakes up dry just about every morning!!  Yeah for Eli!!!
