Oh the fun we have!!

We have been out and about to the beach just about every other day.  On off days we try to do some kind of fun outing.  We went up to the new Disney resort, Aulani.  It was adorable.  Very Hawaiian and fun for kids.  Very well done.  Then, we took the kids to visit some of Nene and Papaw's friends who have a boat.  They offered to take us out on the boat through all of the canals in Hawaii Kai.  The boys had a blast and Lucas caught a jellyfish (non stinging).   The boys absolutely love fishing and get so excited over marine life.
We also when to the Oahu Railway Museum.  Boys love trains and they offer a 90 minute ride up the coast.  It was pretty fun. The boys mostly loved climbing on all of the old trains.
Our next adventure will be some fun hikes and the Polynesian Cultural Center  to see some hula competition!  Oh, and the 4th of July!!  We are having a blast but really, really missing daddy!!

Somewhere under the rainbow!!

This is the scene when we are in the car for longer than 30 minutes...

Checking out Hawaii Kai.

Lucas caught a jellyfish and was so proud...they were unusually hard to the touch but very pretty to see swimming.

Dad and Lucas ran into Jimmy again and got another ride in the outrigger.  I took this looking straight down from our lanai.

Dad and the boys going fishing at low tide.  I stayed and took pictures from the lanai.  They fish with nets and make a litte aquarium with their loot.

Their catch!  A sea cucumber, crabs, fish, and a shrimp!  They return them all to the ocean after 30 minutes.  This is one of Lucas' favorite things to do here in Hawaii!

Lucas is so handsome!!
