- Our very first attraction was Kilimanjaro Safari in Animal Kingdom. What a way to start a trip. It was just like what I imagine a real safari to be like. It was like travelling through a zoo in a jeep with every animal (African) roaming about freely. If the animals were separated, we sure did not notice any fences. Amazing.
- Lucas cried for his life in "Its tough to be a bug." I guess it felt a little too real. Eli was a little disgusted but Jose and I loved it.
- Lucas loved Primeval Whirl at AK. He was a little scared of the Yeti theme to Expedition Everest but enjoyed the ride part.
- We LOVED Finding Nemo: The Musical. Best show we saw.
- Both boys loved all the rides at Epcot. Eli loved all the little boat rides.
- The Rockin' Roller Coaster was Jose and I' favorite ride for the whole week at Hollywood Studios. Lucas liked it but was a little shocked at the speed.
- Lucas and Eli's favorite ride at Hollywood Studios was Toy Story Mania! It is an interactive game ride and the boys loved it. They also got to meet Buzz and Woody (pic below).
- Seeing Darth Vader at Star Tours was also high on the list from Hollywood Studios.
- Magic Kingdom was awesome! Lucas' favorite ride was Splash Mountain then Space Mountain. Eli loved Goofy's Barnstormer, Peter Pan, and Dumbo. They LOVED the electric parade and the fireworks shows at all the parks. It was a highlight. Because we loved the Magic Kingdom so much, we went back on our last day instead of Universal Studios.
- The boys loved meeting Captain America at Islands of Adventure. Definitely a highlight. Both boys favorite ride there was The Hippograff in the new Harry Potter area of the park.
- The boys got to buy one toy each from the Disney Parks and one toy each from Islands of Adventure. Eli picked a Mickey Mouse and a Captain America toy. Lucas picked a Buzz Lightyear gun and an Iron Man toy.
- By the second day, Eli was all about meeting the characters...as long as I was with him, he was not too scared. Eli mostly loved seeing the characters in all the parades (which were awesome) !
- Jose and I were so impressed by the efficiency of the parks. The longest we waited for a ride was 20-30 minutes. They have really improved things in that area since I went 19 years ago!
- We went for dinner to T-Rex at Downtown Disney. The area was very cool but the kids LOVED the restaurant with the dinosaurs and the dinosaur bone dig....they had a blast!
- Jose turned 29 on Aug. 16 and we celebrated at Islands of Adventure!
- It was truly a magical trip :) We had the time of our lives!

These pictures make me happy!!! I love all the fun things you guys get to do and it makes me excited for when Hayes get a little older and we can do fun things with both boys.
I have to know....how did you do that Tinkerbell picture? It looks totally real!
Que bellas fotos, me contenta mucho verlos tan felicies en cada una de ellas, sobre todo, {lucas y {eli, junto a los diferentes personajes de sus juguetes favoritos, ja ja ja. Recorde los momentos que vivimos junto a su papi, hace 20 años, mas o menos. dios e los bendiga. los quiero mucho.
