We made it back to Houston! And just in time for the heat to kick in. July was very mild and rainy and we got off the plane just at the tail end of the rainy season and we are in super hot/humid weather right now. Oh well, we have the neighborhood pool to cool off in every day if need be. The boys were so excited to see their daddy when we got back. They sure did miss him. We have taken the kids to their first circus experience. In one word, meahhhh. It was okay. Lucas loved the human rocket and Eli loved the elephants and tigers. It was worth the trip but we will probably not return every single year. The kids LOVE swimming in the pool. Lucas is a fish. He is constantly swimming! We have gone to Galveston for the day and did the whole beach thing. The kids had fun and there is a decent breeze there so you don't notice the heat so much. The best part about Galveston is the seashells. I have never seen so many in one place!
