we took a trip up to the North Shore for some shopping in Haleiwa (one of my favorites) and we also made another trip to a local hotel with a lagoon so that Lucas could get some more play time on the beach without big waves to contend with. He loves the big waves but its hard to look after an infant and a 3 year old playing in big surf so we have opted to go to some beaches that have protected beaches so that Lucas can play around. Here are some photos of the past couple of days....as usual, I am running short on time so I can't explain each picture but you get the idea..... This first picture is of me with the boys but I was laughing too hysterically to smile properly....my mom was trying to figure out my camera...for those who know my mom, nuff' said!
Jose and I met at The University of Tulsa. He was a Mechanical Engineering student studying abroad from Venezuela and I was studying Petroleum Engineering. We met at a mutual friend's party (even though we had been in the same classes together for 2+ years). We hit it off and went on our first date on April 1, 2003 to a Pearl Jam concert and have been together ever since (I think it was my air guitar skills that wooed him). We got married in Hawaii on December 28, 2004 right after we graduated and one year and 9 months later we had our first son Lucas Oxley, born on October 9, 2006. Our second son, Eli Salvador was born on January 20, 2010.
