Christmas Day

This Christmas was the best ever! The kids were so into it. We did the Elf on the Shelf all month long and Lucas was so excited every morning to find Johnny Ornament. The kids got a ton of stuff and we had another fantastic holiday dinner.
Lucas' favorite gift was his light saber and darth vader mask. He has played with it every day. I would have to say that Eli's favorite was either the remote control mustang or his tub of airplanes that he got in his stocking. He loves little things like that.
The kids were sugared out after all the cookies, cranberry sauce, ice cream, pies, etc. They were in heaven for those few days leading up to Christmas and Christmas day. Now it is back to eating healthy around here!

Santa's work before the kids opened presents. My parents walked over on Christmas morning to watch the boys open gifts for a few hours then went to see Lily open hers.

The first pic of the boys before opening gifts. They were so excited. Lucas woke us up at 7:30. I could here him coming down the stairs and then when he saw the gifts, I heard him say "yyyyyyyeeeeeeesssssss!" He was super pumped that Santa ate some of the cookies and milk. He just kept going in and looking at everything. We waited until 8 am and woke Eli up. He was all smiles when we came down the stairs. A little confused but still very happy.

Eli was so into each gift. Here is his reaction over his remote control mustang. The boys were very sweet with each other and were interested in each others gifts as well as their own. Lucas helped Eli open his presents and Eli helped Lucas. So sweet those two.

Lucas opening his "light saver!"

Lucas' remote control Ferrari that Santa must have picked up in Hawaii :)

Eli got his very own "bbbbbbiiiiiiiiiiiiikkkkkkkkkeeeee!" One of his favorite words...
Incidentally, Lucas got a bike to (a big boy bike with 2 wheels) but I did not get a photo of that. Daddy is out with Lucas right now teaching him. The first day he rode a good distance by himself. We are so proud! I can't wait to hear what kind of progress he made today!

The reaction to the battery powered arctic cat for cruising the neighborhood...

And testing it out......look at those grins!

This was actually Christmas Eve but it was the best shot of us four over the holiday...
