Renaissance Festival

Yesterday we went out to the Texas Renaissance Festival and had a blast! We go every year now since Lucas was born and just look forward to it every year. It is the biggest Renaissance Festival in the U.S. (don't know how this is measured?) and it is something to see. Tons of good food, drinks, shops, rides, and games. But most of all.....the people watching...it is, hands down, the best people watching that I have encountered! My Grandma and Great Aunt came to visit and we took them along and had so much fun at the 'festibal' (as Lucas called it).
Lucas got to ride a lot of the rides this year and he got to eat a lot of food that we normally would not allow so he was on cloud nine! We saw a live jousting match (think, Medieval Times) and Lucas was enthralled. He could not get over the fact that our knight 'got dead' and then 'how did he come back to life?'
So. Much. Fun.

Mother and Son.
My Family of 4.

High jumps on the trampoline.
Sweet little Lily enjoying the day!
Eli loved teething on the corncob..by far the highlight of his day!
My boys riding the carousel with my mom...(I cannot ride this without getting sick).
The Patterson Family laughing because I told Nick to pop that collar and he actually did :)
Lucas realizing that we were all cheering for him every time he came around the carousel.
Daddy bought Lucas a sword and he LOVES it! (He took it to the grocery store today...yep, he loves it that much.)
Eli loved his corncob so much that he fell asleep with it in his hand!
Corn remnants!

Father and Son.
Pony Rides!
Viking Swing with Nie Nie! She had to manually swing (that should explain her arm position).
Dad's Indian warrior dance! He was trying to collect tips in that paper cup!
